A NICE PLACE SINCE 1583

What would you think if I tell you that one of the famous college, here in Mexico was created by the Jesuits? In the center town, in the street of Justo Sierra is the “Antiguo Colegio de San Ildefonso”.

In 1583 was born this college because the Jesuits started their educative labor in the capital. Thanks to the economic boom of the viceroyalty and the financial strength of the Society of Jesus, this place is one of the most representative’s examples of the barroco style here in Mexico.

The history of the Jesuit foundation concluded when it was occupied for the “Escuela Nacional Preparatoria” after this it was closed to the public until the 1992.  The National Autonomous University of Mexico, the National Council for Culture and the Arts and the Department of the Federal District are the new owners of this place.

In my opinion is a great place to visit, because it has a lot of expositions to all the public. If you visit Mexico don’t forget to visit this important college. 

Report of the food & drinks machine

The aim of this report is to consider why is a good or bad idea to remove the food and drinks machine, and to make a recommendation to the director of the school.

I think that the advantages are that maybe the food is unhealthy and obviously fatty; another is that the machine is old and very noisy and takes up valuable space.

Maybe the disadvantages are that like we are very busy is easier to eat the things that have the machine, another is that is cheaper than the local shops, other is that like everyone loves the machine they would be very upset.

It would be a good idea to change the machine for one new and small. I think that we can mix the healthy and unhealthy food, maybe only on Friday the machine can sell this kind of food.

Story

Jacob was absolutely furious when he saw that was going on outside his window. Again the dog of his neighbor poop in his yard, and few minutes before Jacob prune the grass. So he was very upset but that was not the only problem, he feel in love with his neighbor so he think that if he say that her dog do this, maybe she will be annoy, and he don´t want that this situation happen.

One day in the morning he saw again that the dog was there in his yard; he went out and started to shout and cry because he was sick and tired of this situation.

As if that was not enough, maybe it seems like a soap opera but started to rain and Jacob sat on the gift that the dog leaves to him.

The other day the neighbor of Jacob knocked the door, and she said: Sorry for the actions of my dog, but I couldn´t find another way to talk you, I love you. 

Music Festival

Hi Sam!

Who are you?

Obviously I want to be in the music festival. Well I know that is on the beach and some new bands come from all over the world and play their music. Even though the old favourites bands sing covers and they include catchy tunes.

My band has a pop-rock style so you can include in that type of musical genre. Like I said you before there are a lot of bands, so they have their distinctive style, for this, is great that you arrange the programme like the musical genre.

We prefer to play first because the guitarist has to go to visit his relatives in Spain, so he has to travel as soon as possible.

No we don´t want to camp, because they have booked the hotel that is near to the beach.

Story competition

When I was quite young, I did something silly one day. I was in kindergarden, I can say that I love this stage of my life, because you don´t have to worry about nothing.  Another thing that I can mention before I tell you my history is that in this school I met my best friend, her name is Barbara.

Well, my history began something like this; I clearly remembered it was a sunny day, it was in the morning and the teachers usually taught to us songs.  It was a specially one song that I like, is about a hen that when the sun rises she went out and you can see her panties.  Now I realise that this song is crazy and silly.

I like to sang this song and one day I danced this song and I lift up my skirt and everyone see my panties, know  I laugh, but in this moment was embarrassed and the teachers scolded. 

Letter Holidays

Hi John!

Your project is a great idea, when you finish you should show to me.

Well here in Mexico we like to spend time with the family so we usually travel around the country to visit our relatives.  Other things that we like to do is to visit the center town or historical places, maybe this things we do at the day, but on night we want to have fun, so we visit restaurants, bars,  or you can search places for dance.

Yes, I´m already to have holidays; it is right and necessary after work hard. Like every year with my family we book a house in Acapulco, and we spend time together. We have fun and we relax.

How can I forget it? Obviously I remembered you! The last time we saw was in the party of your boyfriend. It was great! What´s up?

I´m preparing for the exams for the university, for my certification in English, for a contest in the “Ibero” and for the “Fondo de Cultura“, so as you can see I've been a little busy.

Of course we can meet up again the next week on Friday. I invite you to come to my house to have a meal, and it will be great. We have a lot to talk.

What have you been doing? Did you finish the college? Do you travel to Europe like you said? Do you have the same boyfriend?

Movie 43

I recently saw Movie 43;  is a 2013 American sketch comedy anthology film co-directed and produced by Peter Farrelly, and written by Rocky Russo and Jeremy Sosenko among others. “Scene periods”, is one of the 16 storylines of the entire movie. 

Is an irreverent comedy, shocking or disturbing stories intertwining, but always fun, you have to see to believe. The film features sixteen different storylines, each one done by a different director. In particular this story chronicles the period of a girl and how the boys react, like they don´t what is about they call 911, they think that she will die because she´s blooding.

My main criticism of this story in a few parts is funny but we know that that those thoughts were in the past, this is a natural process of the women so we don´t have to alarm.

I certainly wouldn´t recommended this film because first is not suitable for all sensitivities, second the humor is stupid and nasty, you can see another films obviously better than this, but if you like this kind of humor you´ll love it.

Hi Paula!

Thanks for coming. The best way to get to my house is that first you have to go to the subway the name of the station is "Terminal Aerea”, be sure that you get out in the station “Olimpica”, when you get out of the subway you have to take a taxi and you tell him that he leaves you in the college “La Paz” and when you arrive there you call me and I go for you.

You must really have to visit many museums or archeology parks. Be sure to visit first the pyramids of Teotihuacan, you can go to Puebla or Queretaro, there are peaceful places,  and here in the city you can go to museums, in the center town there are a lot of places you can visit. It´s a shame that I can´t go with you because I have my exams to university and I go to courses, sorry my friend.

Obviously there are a lot of museums, whatever you do, don´t miss the museum of modern art MAM, the MUNAL, MUAC, Bellas Artes.

Is honesty always the best policy?

Is the value of telling the truth, be decent, modest, reasonable, fair or honest. From a philosophical point of view is a human quality that is to act according as it thinks and feels. Since we are little our parents or in the school teach us different kind of values but the most important is the honesty, why? The tell us that if you want to be a better or a successful person you have to be honest always, but to tell the truth is always correct and possible?  Maybe sometimes we think that this is impossible or a few people can be honest in their entire life.

Sometimes a person that is special for you, maybe a friend, your family, a teacher, a neighbor, etc. ask you something about his appearance and you have to be delicate about your answer, you don´t want to hurt them, and you say a “white lie”. We think that in that moment is good to tell a little lie.

In other times is good to be honest maybe in a project, a person tell you any idea, and you think that is bad, so you have to tell them that you can do another thing, maybe if you do that the project  will be perfect and everyone can shine in their abilities.

I think that you have to be honest because if that person is special for you, is not correct that you  say a “white lie” in this way you hurt them anyway but they don´t know them, if you say the truth both can be better.

"Slumber party alien abdution"

It tells a story about teens (a girl with her boyfriend and her brothers and cousins or friends) and a dog that are in a house alone without adults, the house is between a lake. They are recording all the things that they are doing. On the night suddenly the light went out because there was an explosion, and they saw a person outside the house, so the boyfriend of the girl came to see out what was happening , and the mysterious man took him and the others call to the police. They saw that they were aliens and they want them, so they ran to be safe. The police arrive but suddenly the sound of the patrol disappears.  And one by one they were taken by the aliens.

Oliver´s Castle Crop Circle

The video is fake because with the technology we can do a lot of things like this, I suppose that most of the things have scientific explications, but these things no, I think that if these exists the circles work with magnets or something that have energy or charge and you can manipulate.  But don´t exist prove that show us that is real is a lie and people can cheat you. And the things that suppose are UFOs look like balloons. The quality of the video is not clear, so I think these things doesn´t exist. 

Rods

It looks like an animal, maybe like an ameba, or like a model of something about computer systems, or like a shadow of something. But is rare because only we can see in a photo or a video, and it appears quickly so I don´t have a logical answer. Maybe there are some factors that affect it could be the weather, the position, the time when you take the picture and the camera, I hope so.

 I hope that someone be honest and explain to us what are this inexplicable object.
